COCON began in Kedah, Malaysia, in 1993, building its range around puddings, jellies and other sweets. The small pudding cup is a familiar Asian grocery staple, easy to serve after a meal without preparing a full dessert.

Lychee gives this version a floral, gently sweet flavour. The pudding itself is smooth, with a firmer chew from the nata de coco, the coconut gel pieces folded through it.

Serve a cup chilled after noodles or a spicy rice dish, when a cool, sweet finish is welcome. You can also spoon it into a small bowl with a few pieces of fresh fruit for a little more texture.

The individual cups let you chill a couple at a time and leave the others unopened. They are handy when people want dessert at different times or prefer to choose their own flavour.
