Serve the canned dace and black beans with steaming rice or noodles, warming gently first if preferred. Flake a little through stir-fried greens or congee for an intensely savoury finish.

Store unopened in a cool, dry place. Once opened, transfer unused contents to a covered non-metal container, refrigerate at 0–5°C and follow the pack’s open-life.
