Makan Malaysia Ginger & Garlic Sauce 300ml

Ginger and garlic do a lot of the work in a Malaysian kitchen. This Makan Malaysia sauce puts the two together in a 300ml jar, giving you a fragrant starting point for chicken rice, stir-fries, curries and noodle soups.

Garlic brings savoury depth, ginger adds a warm edge, and a little vinegar lifts the flavour. Keep it within reach when you want to cook a quick meal without peeling and chopping another batch of aromatics.

Start with a spoonful

Add a little to the pan when building a stir-fry or curry base, then stir it through before adding the rest of your ingredients. Start small and taste as you go: the amount you need will depend on the size and seasoning of the dish.

Chicken rice, noodles and everyday dinners

Stir it into a chicken rice base, add it to a noodle broth, or use it to season vegetables and tofu. It is also useful when a simple bowl of rice and greens needs something fragrant alongside it.
