Tom yum is a familiar Thai soup style, but this version takes those flavours in a dry noodle direction. It belongs to MAMA’s Oriental Kitchen range, also known as MAMA OK. The wider MAMA brand began in Thailand in 1972.

Prepare the noodles using the packet instructions, drain as directed, then mix thoroughly with the seasoning. This is a dry preparation, so check the packet before adding water as though you were making noodle soup. A pair of chopsticks or two forks helps spread the sauce through the strands.
