A light, airy crunch with savoury prawn flavour. Miaow Miaow Prawn Crackers are a small-packet version of the keropok udang snacks familiar from Malaysian shops and school canteens.

Miaow Miaow started as a family distribution business in Batu Pahat, Johor, in 1975. It began manufacturing snacks in 1989, building a range that includes prawn crackers, cuttlefish-flavoured crackers and other savoury favourites.

These crackers are ready to eat, with a crisp texture that breaks easily as you bite. The seasoning brings seafood flavour and a little sweetness, making them easy to enjoy without a dipping sauce.

Put a handful beside fried rice or noodles, pack a bag for a journey or open one during an afternoon break. If you enjoy chilli sauce with keropok, keep it on the side and dip a piece just before eating.

They also make a useful starting point for a Malaysian snack selection. Add a spicier cracker and something chewy to give the plate a few different flavours and textures.
