In Filipino food culture, chicharon is often eaten as pulutan, the food shared alongside drinks. A sharp vinegar dip is a familiar accompaniment, bringing tang against the richness of the pork.

The garlic seasoning gives this version an aromatic, savoury finish. Try a few pieces plain first, then dip a piece just before eating if you like the contrast of crisp pork and vinegar.
