Ingredients : Coriander, Fennel, White Cumin, Aniseed, Cinnamon, Dhall, Clove, Bay Leaf, Ginger, Cardamom.

Recipe ideas :

Chicken Kurma (using Baba’s Kurma Mix)

Ingredients:

Cooking oil, Cinnamon stick, Cloves, Cardamoms, Bay leaf, Onions, Garlic, Ginger, Chicken, Baba’s Kurma Mix, Salt, Potatoes, Water, Milk or Coconut milk.

Method:

  1. Heat half a cup of cooking oil in a pot. Add the cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamoms and bay leaf, frying them briefly until they release a fragrant aroma.
  2. Add the sliced onions, garlic and ginger. Sauté until golden and aromatic.
  3. Stir in the chicken pieces, Baba’s Kurma Mix and salt. Mix well, then add a little water to prevent sticking. Let the chicken absorb the spices for a few minutes.
  4. Add the potato cubes and pour in the remaining water. Simmer gently for about 20 minutes until the chicken and potatoes are tender.
  5. Finally, stir in milk or coconut milk and let it cook for another 2 minutes to create a creamy, rich kurma gravy. Serve hot with rice, roti or bread.
