Malaysian Kerepek Ubi Cassava Chips Now Available in the UK!

Choose a sweet, spicy coating or a simpler salty crunch. This listing offers two different styles of Malaysian cassava chips, each with its own flavour and pack size.

Kerepek ubi is made from ubi kayu, or cassava, and is a familiar Malaysian snack sold at markets and served when visitors come round. Different seasonings turn the same basic crisp slice into quite different snacks.

Ubi Basah Pedas, 500g: the spicy option, with a sweet and savoury chilli coating. The coating gives the pieces a fuller flavour and a stickier finish than a plain salted chip.

Ubi Masin, 300g: the salted option, with a simpler savoury seasoning that lets the cassava flavour and crisp texture take the lead.

Have either with tea or a cold drink, or serve a small bowl alongside sandwiches or a rice meal. If you order both, keep them in separate bowls so you can compare the seasoning.

Cassava chips are delicate and may include broken pieces. Smaller bits are still good for snacking or adding crunch to a plate.
