Sweet chilli seasoning and a savoury, chewy bite. Satay Jelly Fish is a ready-to-eat seafood snack to enjoy a few pieces at a time with a cold drink.

Despite the word “jelly”, this is a savoury jellyfish snack. It sits alongside the seasoned fish strips, squid snacks and keropok found on Asian grocery shelves, with its own texture and sweet-savoury finish.

Try a small piece first to get a feel for the chew and seasoning. The sweetness comes through alongside salt and chilli, giving you a more concentrated flavour than a plain cracker.

For sharing, serve a few pieces with rice crackers, roasted nuts and sliced cucumber. Put the snacks in separate bowls so people can move between the different flavours and textures.
