Taste of childhood

Used to make these with late mum . These are pretty good but not as good as mum ‘s . I did enjoy them , a wee bit expensive at this price . The bottom 1/3 were crushed despite the packing . However this thing can be eaten as dust ! I enjoyed it still .

Tasted like Kueh bankit

I was really excited to receive the kueh bangkit for Chinese New Year in the plastic container with red screw top.

The excitement was short lived because quite a few of the cookies were broken which was disappointing. Whilst I know kueh bangkit are delicate with its dry and crumbly texture, I had never seen so many broken pieces before!

The positives were that the kueh bangkit tasted like those in Malaysia, melt in your mouth and with a hint of coconut. Also, when I reported the broken cookies to Pasar Mart, they were very quick with their response and willingly refunded my purchase by way of a voucher which could be redeemed against future purchase. I must add that Pasar Mart was very good with their customer service which should be credited.

Other than the broken pieces, I was satisfied with the product.
