MyKuali Penang White Curry Noodle Cup pairs springy noodles with a creamy, spicy curry broth. The flavour is based on Penang curry mee, with aromatic spices, chilli warmth and a savoury finish in a single-serving noodle bowl.
White Curry is the flavour most closely associated with MyKuali. The Malaysian brand began with a Penang-born founder missing his mother’s cooking, and its original White Curry packet noodle took first place in The Ramen Rater’s 2014 Top Ten Instant Noodles of All Time list.
This listing is for the wheat-noodle cup. The springy noodles give the curry soup a fuller bite, and the bowl format makes it easy to prepare using boiling water. It is a useful way to enjoy a curry mee-style lunch when you have a kettle available.
Follow the water fill line and preparation instructions on the cup, cover while the noodles soften, then stir well to mix the seasoning through the broth. At home, add a boiled egg, cooked prawns or tofu puffs after preparation, with the tofu soaking up some of the curry soup.
