The Secret To Creamy Kopi Susu, At Pasar Mart

Carnation began in 1899 in Washington State, USA, when Elbridge Amos Stuart started canning evaporated milk, and it has been part of the Nestlé family since 1985. Its sweetened condensed milk, made from just whole milk and sugar, is one of the best-known tins in British kitchens.

In Malaysia, sweetened condensed milk is what makes kopi susu and teh tarik so rich: a spoonful at the bottom of the cup, strong coffee or tea poured on top, stirred until golden. In the UK, it is the secret behind banoffee pie, fudge and millionaire’s shortbread.

That thick, creamy sweetness works in both worlds, which is why condensed milk is a must for anyone making Malaysian drinks at home, as well as for home bakers.

Whether you are making kopi susu or teh tarik, baking banoffee pie, whipping up no-churn ice cream or making fudge, Carnation Condensed Milk is a must-have. Grab a single 397g tin or a 4-tin pack.

Perfect for:

  • Kopi Susu
  • Teh Tarik
