Otsuka launched Pocari Sweat in Japan in 1980. Its unfamiliar taste took some introducing at first: the company handed out millions of samples before the drink found its audience. It went on to become a familiar sight across Asia.

This 500ml bottle is best enjoyed chilled. Keep one in the fridge for after a walk, take it along during the day or have it with lunch.
