Taro’s fish snack range began in Thailand in 1983. The brand developed around prepared fish snacks that are ready to eat, with different seasonings changing the character of the same chewy format.

Mala describes the spicy, tingling flavour style associated with Sichuan cooking. Here it gives the sauce-coated snack a more forceful seasoning than Taro Original.

Enjoy a few pieces with a cold drink, or put some beside a bowl of noodles for a chewy accompaniment. The concentrated flavour means you can start with a small amount and see how much heat you enjoy.
